A mild keratin-protein based chemical cream is applied that breaks down bonds in the brow hairs so they can be manipulated into the new position. Then the neutralizing lotion is applied to rebuild these bonds and sets hairs in their new position. Lastly, a keratin infused moisturizing serum is applied to strengthen and nourish the hairs post treatment.
Anyone looking to improve the overall shape of their brows, whether you have sparse brows or unruly, coarse brows with stubborn growth patterns can try brow lamination.
Contraindications for Brow Lamination include but are not limited to:
Recent permanent make-up (must be healed by 6 weeks)
Psoriasis/Eczema in brow area
Alopecia
Sunburn
Pinkeye
Ultra sensitive skin
Taking blood thinners
Scar tissue in treatment area
Retinol, Accutane, AHA, BHA products (refrain from using 2 weeks before considering or seek clearance from dermatologist)
Avoid the temptation to over touch the brows post treatment
Do not apply makeup or any other eye treatments for at least 24 hours after treatment.
Avoid swimming/sauna for 24 hours.
Avoid sleeping on your face post treatment.
Keep brows completely dry for 24 hours.
Apply your favorite hair conditioner/ mask to the brows 3-4 times a week. Rinse, gently brush while wet to set in place.
Refrain from using oil based products immediately after lamination. This will cause your lamination to revert faster.
Note the semi-permanent dyes, tints, and henna will never stain the skin for more than 7 days. Skin naturally exfoliates daily and therefore causes the brow tint or stain to lift as well. Tint can last on the brow hairs anywhere from 2-3 weeks depending on aftercare. If you have had any recent sun exposure or a mild sunburn, this can prevent affect tint longevity and cause fading sooner.

-Taking any prescribed anti-biotics or acne medications.
-Stop applying Retin-A 2-3 weeks prior. Accutane should be 6 months.
-Very sensitive skin, prone to breakouts
-Recent exfoliating treatments such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, micro needling, etc....)
-Recent Botox or collagen injections
-Skin disorders or diseases
-Areas around the brows that has recent pimples, rash, moles, warts, or fresh scar tissue
-Long recent exposure to the sun or mild sunburn
